Some may question whether Jamar Chaney can keep up his torrid pace from the end of last year. Do not be one of those people. Go get him!

Bishop took years to get his opportunity. Now that he has it, go get him and reap the benefits.

  1. Where is Navarro Bowman on this list? With Spikes gone he will be playing next to Willis…should get some great stats there!

  2. Tom Digliani

Agreed. Will be adding him and a few others on the next update. I still do not expect huge things out of him. But he is definitely a top-60ish player

  3. For me, there is one noticeable omission: Zac Diles, who projects as a 3-down weak-side LB in St. Louis. What are your thoughts on him? I love the list, though. Thanks.

  4. Tom Digliani

Thanks for the compliment. Personally I am not high of Diles. He has youth on his side being only 26, but he has never been a big scorer. Outside of his 8 game coming out party in 2008, he has pretty much averaged 4-5 tackles a game in his career. Even Diles’ coming out party was more of a reflection of the position rather then the player. Morlon Greenwood had averaged 7+ tackles per game and 110-120 tackles per season there prior to Diles taking over. As for the WLB in StL, it has not been a hotbed for production. Larry Grant did nothing there and Witherspoon was a 4-5 tackle per game guy there after he moved from the middle to the weak side in 2008 before Laurinaitis’ selection. Lastly, the Rams were 27th, 29th, 23rd, 30th and 32nd the last 5 years in tackles on defense. There just aren’t many tackles to go around. Unless you expect a big drop from Laurinaitis (I do not) then I cannot see much upside for Diles. Hope that helps.

  5. You make very valid, illuminating points on Diles and the fantasy relevancy of the WLB position in St. Louis. That was a good read. Thanks.
