Manning will try to put more points on the board this week on Monday Night Football.

Overall week one was pretty disappointing for the AFC South. The defending champion Titans had the chance to prove last year was no fluke, but lost in overtime to the Steelers. The high-flying Texans offense was held completely in check by the Jets, and the Colts and Jags only managed 26 points combined in their match-up. Its only week two, but if this division is going to gain any ground on the NFC as the best in the league, all four teams must raise their games significantly.

Week Two Fantasy Football Projections

Indianapolis @ Miami – The Dolphins did not look like an 11-5 team in week one, in fact they barely looked like a 5-11 team with an offensive attack that looked stagnant and dull. Miami shocked the football world last year mostly due to their +17 turnover ratio. Last week, however, was a different story with the ‘phins sporting a -4 ratio. The lone bright spot for Miami was their continued ability to stop the running game, holding Michael Turner to just 65 yards on 22 carries. The Colts have had serious troubles running the ball going back to last season so look for a pass-happy game plan even with the absence of Anthony Gonzalez.

Peyton Manning- 300 passing yards 3 TDs

Joseph Addai – 70 total yards 1 TD (receiving)

Donald Brown – 50 total yards 0 TD

Reggie Wayne – 8 receptions 120 yards 1 TD

Dallas Clark – 6 receptions 65 yards 1 TD

Final Score – Indianapolis 24, Miami 17

Arizona @ Jacksonville – Good news and bad new for Jacksonville in week one; the good news, you held Peyton Manning and the Colts to just 14 points. The bad news, just 114 passing yards and only 12 points scored. They will need to find a way to get their passing game going against Arizona, who held Frank Gore to just 30 yards on 22 carries. What the Jags have going in their favor is the Cardinals history of poor play when traveling east. Last season Arizona was 0-5 in away games against east-coast teams.

David Garrard -   225 passing yards 25 rushing yards, 2 TDs

Maurice Jones-Drew – 100 total yards, 1 TD

Torry Holt - 5 receptions 75 yards, 1 TD

Final Score - Jacksonville 21, Arizona 20

Steve Slaton will need more than 17 rushing yards to beat the Titans

Houston @ Tennessee – With so much hype about their offense coming into this season the Texans were completely dominated in week one. If you own anyone on the Texans offense you better hope the Jets have one of the best defenses in the league to justify such an anemic performance. The Titans offense also struggled against Pittsburgh, but their defense kept them in the game and forced overtime. Tennessee actually won the turnover battle but couldn’t find the end zone more than once. That will definitely change in week two against the Texans. If Houston doesn’t find their offensive swagger early this one could get ugly quick.

Matt Schaub – 250 passing yards 1 TD

Steve Slaton – 75 total yards 1 TD

Andre Johnson – 8 receptions 110 yards, 1 TD

Kevin Walter – 4 receptions 60 yards, 0 TD

Owen Daniels – 4 receptions 40 yards, 0 TD

Kerry Collins - 200 passing yards, 0 TD

Chris Johnson – 120 total yards, 2 TD

LenDale White – 100 total yards, 2 TD

Gage/Britt/Washington – 3 receptions 40 yards, 0 TD (each)

Bo Scaife – 5 receptions 50 yards, 0 TD

Final Score – Tennessee 34, Houston 24
