Love it Ray. I’m in a 16 team league and getting a reliable QB like Pennington as late as he will be available would be great.

If the schedule wasn’t so difficult I would dissagree with the upside. Still, this year could be the year which would be ahead of schedule in regard to the overall plan in Miami to be top-notch by 2010.

The thing to like about Pennington is that he will put up points for you every week. Low risk option but low upside is his problem.

Pennington could easily post 25 TD 4,000 yards this year – no doubt. Best low end QB1 you can draft and you can get him cheap cheap cheap.. just don’t count on it so be sure to grab a guy like Matt Hasselbeck to match him up with just in case. Two guys like this you could rotate based on match-up, weather or over all performance etc

Thanks Man I appreciate it. I think he’ll be fine, but if Henne did wind up coming in I really don’t think he will have any kind of impact this year.

You think it will be Pennington that makes noise in Miami this season, or the other Chad (Henne)? If the team gets off to a slow start I suspect Henne will get a shot at running the team. Great article.
