Colts coach Jim Caldwell reiterated Monday that Anthony Gonzalez (knee) has a chance to resume practicing this week. If you need WR help it’s time to pick up Gonzalez! “He ran some routes on Saturday,” Caldwell said. “He felt really good. He feels like he’s close to going. Whether that’s this week or next week remains to be seen.” Look for Gonzalez to be upgraded to “questionable” or at least “doubtful” on this week’s injury report. The Colts face the 49ers in Week 8.

the remainder of the 2009 season, and thru the playoffs, A Gonzalez is a better fantasy player to have, rather then Lance Moore, Mendenhall, Nicks, Avery, Roy Williams. Reggie Wayne could miss some action during week 8, so expect Manning to continue targeting his favorite receivers, as they try to break back in Anthony Gonzalez into a starting WR2 postion. He should be owned in all 12+ team fantasy leagues especially owners of Reggie Wayne
