The Los Angeles Daily News is reporting Pete Carroll has resigned as head coach at USC. The next question, obviously, is whether that means a deal is done with Seattle. As of 6:49 p.m., it was not but sources say that the Seahawks and Carroll are close to a deal rumored to be a five-year agreement worth $7 million annually.

Maybe so, but nothing says "legacy" like taking a crap team and making them into something.

Pete Carroll isn't an NFL coach and it will be proven. (hence his 33-31 record)

College coaches don't cut it in the NFL.
