Number 1 reason why Nate Davis should be starting. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=935m5pu7Y5c&feature=related]YouTube - Nate Davis Highlights 2010[/ame]

Personally, I like Nate Davis. Just my 2 cents.

Davis has skills, but it's well known that he has a problem comprehending and executing the playbook.

Drew Brees/Matt Ryan is a start.

The fall that teams take from swinging and missing on a franchise QB is pretty dramatic. I have some experience in watching that sort of thing. That Falcons team with Alex Smith at QB probably wouldn't be at .500.

You CAN win a SB without a dominant QB but you have to be really dominant somewhere else.

Still feel that Singletary is a good head coach?

Anyone who has seen Singletary's press conferences already know the answer to your question 86, is NO....he's still the old LB wearing a baseball cap nothing more.

When the Chiefs 49ers game happened...i looked hard at this coaching staff. and know what i saw....alot of the 9er coachs help put my Chiefs in2 rebuilding mode. so until you guys get better coachs, you'll always be playing from behind. I know all 2 well.

  9. good position coach.

    hahaha

    but a good HC?

    Hell no

The problem is higher than the HC. Since Eddie has been gone, this team has one management disaster after another. York's are not capable of running an NFL team. I dont think they could handle a lemonade stand.

  11. I disagree. They've hired the right GM now they just need the right coach.

I could be mistaken, but I'm pretty sure the 49ers don't actually HAVE a GM.

He is the GM in everything except title.

Fair enough. Regardless, I'm not sure that he's what the 49ers need as their "GM" right now. That whole organization is a mess from the top down and having someone with no previous FO experience, someone who is essentially learning his job as he goes, isn't what the doctor ordered. They need someone experienced, who can come in and take over all aspects of operation without a second thought.

  15. He has done a nice job of getting the talent in the door regardless whether the organization is set up poorly and the coach is awful.

All he's done is whatever he did this last offseason. Troy Smith lol. Davis and Iupati are playing well from what I understand, but that's hardly enough to judge the guy as a GM. It just seems to me that an organization in such shambles with so many questions from the top down would benefit more by having an experienced, proven guy at GM.

Ok - That being the said, a good GM would bring in a qualified coaching staff. Let's see (3 coaches since the last playoff appearance later) if this GM finally makes it happen!

  18. New GM though. Whatever coach they replace Singletery with willl be crucial.

Here's what will happen: SF will get trounced tonight @ SD (because they sleep through most road games), then the final games vs STL and ARZ play awesome, then by some Divine Intervention win their division at 7-9 and the IDIOTS running the team will be sooooooo proud of their own and Singletary's ridiculous predictions of winning the West, that they will sign him and his oompa-loompa coaching staff to 5 year extensions... (Even after they get crushed 35-3 by whoever they would face in the WC game)...
