Smith received 23 votes while Patriots coach Bill Belichick, who led the Patriots to the NFL's best record at 14-2, received 14 votes. Eagles coach Andy Reid finished third with 3 votes. 2. I thought Haley or Morris would get more consideration.....but Smith has led the Falcons to levels of success they have never achieved in annual years before his arrival.

    Congrats......:peace:

2 votes for Haley and Morris? I officially give up trying to figure the NFL out.

While I'm glad Mike won this (no one expected Atlanta to be DIV champs or anywhere near 13-3 this year...including most of us fans), Raheem definitely deserved this. What probably held votes back was the fact that he didn't get in the playoffs.

  6. The NFL is officially full of crap. Coach Haley earned this award.

Although an unpopular choice, how can Belichick not win this award? Every move this guy made (eg., adios Moss) turned out to be right and turned the Pats into a juggernaut. Probably would have twinky of the Year though.

Zero votes for Mccarthy...pathetic. This game tonight just goes to show that McCarthy should have won this..he is SUCH an underrated coach and play caller.
