ESPN's Adam Schefter has reported that the Seattle Seahawks will release linebacker Lofa Tatupu after Tatupu refused to take a paycut. Tatupu in turn asked for his release. Schefter writes via his Twitter page: "After Seahawks asked LB Lofa Tatupu to take a paycut, he asked them to release him. The team now plans to do so, albeit reluctantly." If he gets back to his prime he will be an absolute monster for any 4-3 team, but I don't think any team is going to pay him what Seattle would right now. Swallow your pride Lofa.
Andy Reid at this point needs to focus on signing Desean Jackson to a long term deal unfortunately which will leave some of our needs open but we are looking pretty good. And also Andy Reid doesn't really value LB's for some reason and is happy with the crap he has there.
Dude WAS great. I've got no faith he can be a premier linebacker anymore. Clearly the Hawks don't either. Pbutt.
