The Cowboys are in the market for a cornerback after releasing Terence Newman, and have their sights set on former Chiefs CB Brandon Carr. The Cowboys and Carr are working toward a deal with a big number, which might end up at more than $7 million per season, according to league sources. Carr is a clear upgrade over Newman. He’s not a particularly fast cornerback, but will fit in the Cover 2 scheme under DC Rob Ryan.

I'll be happy I preferred Finnegan but will be happy with this

I like Finnigan much better, but I would rather have Carr if he is coming in a 7 million. I always figured he'd get 9

Pioli screws up again. I kept hearing how he didn't want to sign two CBs to $50+ mil deals. Guess what, idiot? THIS IS FREAKING 35 MIL!

    After this year, he's gone.
