The Saints and CB Jabari Greer have agreed to a contract extension that will keep him in New Orleans through 2015, Greer’s agent, Mark Bloom, confirmed to Pro Football Weekly. It’s a three-year extension, and the total value of the deal exceeds $23 million. Specific contract details were not available. Greer’s deal was set to expire after this coming season, and the team approached him about remaining with the team for the long term. “It shows that with his progressive level of success and high level of play, the Saints are rewarding Jabari,â€￾ Bloom said. “The Saints are echoing what the fans think. In three years, Jabari has become one of the best corners ever in a Saints uniform.â€￾

Loving this....best CB we've had on a long time. Vilma also restructured today....i'm glad they didn't abandon him through all this. He's the Brees of our defense.

I hope the restructuring means that Brees is close to signing. Something just don't smell right about that.

that is sounding better. seeing as it was reported that they were 5 million apart, that will help in the equation.
