Great deal for Atlanta. 6th-rounder for a ball hawk. Not bad at all.

He's a zone corner. They want to play man. He doesn't fit the scheme.

They tried playing a bit more zone last year because of Asante and it made Nnamdi looked very mediocre.

I understand that this is a business, I really do. But you couldn't trade him OUT OF CONFERENCE for a freaking 7th round pick and redoing his contract? I love Asante and wish him well but this could come back to bite us in the butt. AND I'm sure we'll use this crap to trade up and get Tannehill. FREAK MY LIFE!

If Samuel isn't on the outside the first play of the regular season we won't have to wait near as long.

He can play man or zone but he has to be on the outside.

I should have said they want their corners to press. And it ain't gonna happen with Asante.

He's a decent man corner. Not even close to as good as he is in zone.

Smith likes to play the nickel more than their base 4-3. Shouldn't be too much of an issue. Might even see Robinson line up at safety some in the 4-3 scheme

Robinson will be the guy moving or playing Nickel. Falcons restructured his contract to give him a paycut last month and he hasn't lived up to his price as the starter. I think Nolan will regulate him to the Nickel or as stated above, some time at safety.

because this is a more pass-happy league than ever, many teams are playing 5 db's in a lot of their standard packages, not just 3rd and long. i believe nolan when he says all 3 will see significant playing time, even if they all stay healthy.

Samuel takes it personal if he isn't #1. He dealt with it when Nnamdi came to town, but his pride/ego is fragile. Need to be careful there.
