On the eve of their regular-season opener and following the re-instatement of previously suspended linebacker Jonathan Vilma and defensive end Will Smith, the New Orleans Saints have made a few roster moves. The Saints freed up three roster spots by releasing often-injured receiver Adrian Arrington and veteran reserve fullback Korey Hall. The Saints also placed rookie offensive tackle Marcel Jones on injured reserve. Meanwhile, the Saints have activated Smith for Sunday's game with the Washington Redskins. They also have received roster exemptions for linebackers Barrett Ruud and Vilma. Source: The Times-Picayune
If AA could just stay healthy he could make some noise in the league. Shame. Nice size and speed. He will probably sign on somewhere else. Didn't think we would carry two fullbacks. We have enough tight ends to have a blocker.
He has all the potential in the world and you know what happens to coaches who get players with potential. They get fired.
So where's Arrington going to end up? All the hub bub about having the suspensions lifted and Will Smith is the only one who might end up playing out of all of them?
If his knees can take it. He is a good receiver otherwise the Saints would have cut his butt long ago. Some team will get a good receiver. Just gets injured too often.
