Sunday’s Buccaneers-Redskins game at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Bay will be blacked out on local television.

The Bucs did not sell out in time, and the game will be blacked out within a 75-mile radius.

According to Pewter Report, 21 of the last 23 Buccaneers home games, including the preseason, have been blacked out locally. This weekend, the 1-2 Buccaneers host No. 2 overall pick Robert Griffin III and the Redskins.

and keep in mind that the nfl has made it easier to sell enough seats to have it televised......... and the bucs still can't get it done............... they may have to start tarping over a bunch of their seats like jacksonville had to do.

only when they're in the playoffs every year. when they're not winning a lot of games, they have trouble selling tickets down there.

when tampa had their run from '97 to '07 when they made the playoffs almost every year, they sold out but since then they have struggled getting butts in the stands.
