San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Randy Moss has the chance to go out on top, but Super Bowl XLVII might not mark the end of the 35-year-old's career.

Citing a source familiar with the wideout's thinking, ProFootballTalk reports Moss plans to play at least one more season.

There's no guarantee that would happen with the 49ers. Moss is set to become a free agent in March after playing through the one-year, $2.5 million deal he signed last spring.

Moss retired following the 2010 campaign, but he returned this season -- his 14th in the NFL -- to play a supporting role in the 49ers' offense.
