The Indianapolis Colts released seven-time Pro Bowler Dwight Freeney and wide receiver Austin Collie on Friday, the team announced.

Freeney, who turns 33 next week, played all 10 of his NFL seasons with the Colts, and has 107.5 sacks in that time span. Freeney is the franchise’s all-time sacks leader. He converted to outside linebacker and only recorded five sacks and 12 tackles in an injury-plagued season.

“Few people have meant as much to the success of the Indianapolis Colts as Dwight Freeney,â€￾ said Colts owner and CEO Jim Irsay said in a release. “He has been a dominant player, which is all the more impressive considering his size for his position, and he has won a lot of games for this franchise. Dwight was an artist, a joy to watch, and the dedication he put toward his craft was a rare quality. We will miss him, but look forward to his future induction into the Hall of Fame and Colts Ring of Honor.â€￾

Collie spent the last four seasons with the team, catching 173 passes for 1,845 yards and 17 touchdowns. Collie missed the majority of the 2012 season after he ruptured the patellar tendon in his right knee in September.
