The Ravens have reached an agreement on a two-year, $3.55 million contract with Dallas Cowboys former starting defensive end Marcus Spears, according to league sources with knowledge of the situation.

The deal was finalized late Friday.

Spears is a 2005 first-round draft pick from LSU, selected 20th overall by the Cowboys.

He was cut this year after signing a five-year, $19.2 million contract in 2011.

Spears, 30, has 226 career tackles and 10 sacks with three forced fumbles. Last season, he had 25 tackles and a sack in six starts.

Best of luck to you Marcus

Great guy, solid player over his career here

Don't know what he has left however. I think he could still be a solid run stuffing 5 Tech on a rotational basis
