Josh Cribbs has agreed to a deal with the Arizona Cardinals, according to Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer. Details should be finalized by Thursday, according to the report. Cribbs has been used in a variety of roles with the Browns, including returns, as a receiver and even as a quarterback in the wildcat formation. His role in Arizona is unclear for the time being, but it probably includes at least the promise of more opportunities to play receiver, given that he complained toward the end of his tenure with the Browns over not being used in the offense. He isn't signed and word has it he's shopping himself elsewhere. To what Captain said, Peterson is the punt returner and Cribbs would at best be a #3 or #4 receiver and handle kickoffs. Just guessing that his status here would be like Cleveland with little to no playing time on offense so he'd end up being a special teamer. I don't think Cribbs signs with the Cards.
