Tavares Gooden, a key member of the 49ers’ special teams since 2011, indicated on Twitter that his five-year career may be coming to an end. But that’s not an official statement, his agent said. Gooden is an unrestricted free agent, and he reportedly had visits this week with the Pittsburgh Steelers and Arizona Cardinals. Another visit is set up elsewhere for next week, and the 49ers don’t appear to be interested in re-signing him, agent Sean Kiernan said. “I think it’s time for me to retire and move on to the next chapter in life.
