Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo was sandwiched by New York’s Mathias Kiwanuka and Justin Trattou and forced to leave the field for a play late in the first half and although he said he was fine, his ribs were sore and he will have an X-ray Monday, David Moore of the Dallas Morning News reports.

“Obviously it’s something that doesn’t feel great some times,†said Romo, who threw for 263 yards with two touchdowns and one interception. “You’ve just got to suck it up and go.

    “It’s part of playing football.â€

Head coach Jason Garrett had a similar message.

“I don’t think he was 100 percent,’’ Garrett said of Romo’s performance in the second half. “But that’s the nature of this league. You rarely are 100 percent.’’

Romo played a game a year or two ago on a collapsed lung,so playing on cracked ribs would be nothing serious to him.i hate the cowboys, romo is pretty tough if he plays a game with a collapsed lung.

romo would play with a broken leg if they'd let him. as long as his throwing hand is alright, that heck will play. him and witten are cut from the same cloth.
