A win-win proposition for 49ers, Raiders?

  1. So far it sounds like a good idea. Al Davis is smart enough to know that co-existing at 1 stadium is cost-efficient. If it can work for the Jets and Giants, then there's no reason it cannot work for the 49ers and Raiders.

I assume they'd still be the "Oakland" Raiders, even if they share a stadium up in Santa Clara with the 9ers? [smilie=MISC02.gif]

Hey, maybe that way you could at least have one good team playing there every other weekend....Ok, well maybe not... but the odds are better. :)

DOWN in Santa Clara. Would they still be the SF 49ers?

Not gonna happen, Al Davis and John York in a buisness venture together? Ha. Plus I don't want dirtbag Raiders fans trashing our stadium like they have done in Oakland.
