The regular season has ended for college football and I thought it would be fun to put together a ranking for every position. Obviously only players eligible will be included. Also, if I have forgotten someone or mistakenly placed someone in my rankings who has said he will be returning for school, by all means let me know. I like that you have Jon Halapio on there, guy finished blocks big time in run game, but needs to work on pass blocking.
Christian Kirksey is under rated, could be a good mid/late round pickup.
You don't have Devin Street in the WR category,is that an over sight? I think he's a good 5th/6th rounder.

Any Special Teamers worthy of mention?

As of now, I just dont have Street in the top 10 among WRs. I love this class of WRs so its not knock on him. I have been rewatching a ton of games and plan to update my rankings in the next few weeks prior to the combine

Do you mean as far as kickers and punters? Or returners?

Um I havent looked too much into honestly. I know a guy like DeAnthony Thomas from Oregon who will be coveted mainly for that.

Personally I like Garapollo over Mettenberger. Mettenberger has the arm and big program experience, but I belive Garapollos release, intelligence and ability to respond to coaching will make him a better pro.

IMO after those two and Murray there is a STEEP drop off. I really feel Boyd and Thomas will be the next QBs off the board just due to physical ability.

Agreed. Add the knee injury to Mettenberger and Garapollo jumps ahead. Screw that small school knock as a negative. That kid can get rid of the ball at the last second, take a hit and be accurate. I'd compare him more to Kurt Warner than all the comparisons to Romo he's been getting lately. I'd love him in AZ after Palmer's done in one or two years but confident he'll be gone by the time AZ picks in the 2nd and 3rd rounds. Maybe Jerry will shelve the Romo Project and take him.:dunno:

Maybe. I think they would have to do it in the first. I don't think hell make it out of the top 10 picks in the 2nd

Jerry is more likely to take a RB that nobody heard of :ROFLMAO:

I really want to see Sutton at the Combine. I want to see if he made his 305 and how well he moves at that weight. If he shows explosiveness at the combine, Im gonna have him as my #1 DT. A guy you ask to play a power 1 Tech position and get a good burst off the line as well as someone who could easily slim down to 295 and play a 3 Tech spot

  17. LitesOut13

Ya too much was made of his weight in my opinion. The guy got a lot of attention this season but even after all that, he is still the first ever back to back Pac 12 defensive player of the year. In a conference that housed Anthony Barr and Trent Murphy. I think he could end up being a monster at the next level

Correct me if Im wrong, but they did ask him to play at 325 didn't they?

  19. LitesOut13

Not sure of the exact weight they asked him to be at but they definitely wanted him to gain weight. And by they it was people saying he needed to be that big to play in the NFL

Because ive heard he played his JR year at 275 ( not sure how accurate that is) and I do know he slimmed down to 315 for the Senior Bowl
