    Brady and the Patriots are going to go out guns blazing., but their defense is suspect. I expect a high scoring game, but New England will cover.

    I love Michaels always getting excited about how the events of the game are affecting the betting lines late in games...I don't know how he doesn't get in trouble for that when it's so blatantly obvious what he's talking about.

    it seems to be becoming more and more commonplace for announcers/talking heads to talk about betting lines. they were talking about this exact subject on a sports show yesterday i was listening to. Many years ago, it was taboo but everyone knows how many people are watching certain games simply because they have money on them so why pretend like it's not a real thing. similar to fantasy sports, of which announcers/talking heads reference all the time, many people aren't watching/listening to the game just for the game itself.
