Because Jerry Jones said so, and sadly, Jerry's word is still law in Big D. Having your back-up QB counting almost $20 million against the cap doesn't make much sense business wise, so...I don't know...
rag, what tj said super start don't lose their starting job when injured... now if he comes back and sucks then that's a different story.. but he won't suck, at least not bad enough to warrant benching.
