Dilfer did not win that superbowl dude Ray Lewis did. Dilfer just didn't lose the superbowl. If Dilfer won the super bowl he would have been resigned after it
That's Billick's crapface doing his job. Dilfer came through in the clutch, with that TD pass to Stokely. He made his contribution, and that's all that was asked of him. Now if crapface Billick wants a guy who can throw the ball 100 yards through the uprights on his knees, but can't use his legs because he's 87 years old (Grbac), it's not my problem.
The Ravens scored through the air (Dilfer to Stokely), on the ground (Jamal Lewis), on defense (Duane Starks INT return), and on special teams (Jermaine Lewis, two Stover Field Goals). It was a team effort.
If he sucked so bad then why did he have such longevity? He was smart, efficient and middle of the road enough to stay in the league 20 years. I hardly consider that 'worst of all time'.
You clearly misunderstood me. TDJets said the Ravens never had a good QB, so I named one, Vinny Testaverde, who made the pro-bowl his first year with the Ravens. I'm a huge Vinny fan myself. I think it's astonishing he stayed in the league for that long. Great guy.
