Okay, now that this "worst to first" team is 23 games above .500 in freakin' July, I believe it's time to start an official thread I am first and foremost a Braves fan, but I have followed the Rays since day one due to my proximity to their stadium plus the fact that I've attended 50+ games over the past 10 years. I have guarded optimism for their success this season; I guess I'm just waiting for the other shoe to drop, but it hasn't yet. This is an exciting team, no doubt, and I think their success is good for baseball in general. So, here's to the Rays:drinks:
I bet the M's would be better if your second string catcher pitched regularly. what the heck was that?! Good for the Rays.
Dammit!!! Rays lost both games in NY. Four game series starting tomorrow in Cleveland. At least they won't have to face CC....:icon_cheesygrin:
Rays lost their first two in Cleveland :banghead: Hopefully they can end their 5-game skid tonight against a rookie pitcher...
Jeez...sorry!!! I guess I did...:icon_cry: They're gonna win tonight, Jamie's gonna have his stuff goin'.....:icon_thumleft:
Rays are releasing reports the David Price will be called up as early as this weekend. Also Rocco Baldelli will suit up in RF very shortly for the Rays.
Rays just traded for Jason Bay. They're giving up Reid Brignac and Jeff Niemann for him. Not a bad deal for either team. Bay to DH possibly?
