What players in the NFL, if they never played another down, are locks to get in to the Hall.

I throw some guys out there, but Im sure Im gonna miss a ton

QB- Brady and Manning are the obnly ones I think are locks as of now

HB- LT's a lock. Edge, his stats say yes, but he could be losing steam

WR's- Moss, Harrison, Owens, Holt and Bruce are the only ones I can think of

TE- The only one I can think of is Gonzoles

OL- Walter Jones, mabey Hutchinson. He's young (30) but he's been dominant long enough. I really dont know if Pace is close

DL- Jason Taylor, Richard Seymore. I think thats it

LB- Ray Lewis, Derrick Brooks, Zach Thomas, Ted Brushi, Brian Urlacher

DB- Brian Dawkins, Champ Bailey, maybe Ty Law

No way. He sucks now. He had one amazing seasons with clutch field goals to win super bowls, but his stats suck. Are you, a Cowboys fan, saying that rings matter more than stats? :icon_cheesygrin:

I'm not even sure about Stover or Jason Elam. He probably deserves it, but they've been pretty strict in Canton about kickers, letting only one in. I disagree with Thomas; Urlacher, maybe, ok, but not first-ballot. I don't know if you consider Favre retired or not, but he's with the QBs obviously. Lorenzo Neal maybe. Gates? I'm probably being a little leanient. Add coaches: Dungy, Holmgren, Billechick (still is a lock even with spygate), Parcells (does he count?), Shannahan, Fisher. Reid?

    Gruden? Martz? nah.

You're not sure about Orlando Pace? WTF?

Orlando Pace i'd say is 100% guaranteed to be in the HOF

Blah, bla, blah...if it's not for him, the Patriots dinasty just doesn't happen. End of story.

Pace has been a great player, but the HOF isnt kind to OL. You pretty much have to bwe truely dominate your whole career to get in at that position. Pace has had a great career, but if you put him next to guys like Walter Jones and Jonathan Ogden, he is not quite at there level

Agreed, I'd say he's the first offensive lineman to go of the active players.

I think Walter Jones would go in before him

I think Ogden goes in first, even walter jones has some seasons working against him. Pace is there, but probably will take several times of eligibility. Roaf is in, but of course he is retired.

Wards not even close and i'm not sure about Faneca either.

You really have to be something special to get in on the OL.

Faneca will get in. He is special. Ward will get in because I want him to. He's the greatest Steelers receiver of all time...and 2 others from Pittsburgh are in...:icon_thumright: !!
