I didn't really have any stock in who won the game, it was just something I'd never seen before, and thought it was funny.
And that is the real story of how the game was won by the Bears and lost by the Eagles. Philly blew multiple scoring chances before the fog rolled in and had to settle for field goals. I still remember that one drop in the end zone by Keith Jackson rather vividly.
