A source close to San Francisco 49ers holdout wide receiver Michael Crabtree tells Charles Robinson of Yahoo! Sports that while he disagrees with the idea of Crabtree missing an entire season, "the kid is weird enough that he just might do it." The comment comes after NFL Network analyst and former player Deion Sanders said Crabtree, taken 10th in this year's NFL draft, is willing to remain unsigned because of his desire to paid as much as No. 7 overall pick and fellow wide receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey(notes). Crabtree believes he would have been a top-five pick if not for a stress fracture in his foot that was discovered at the NFL scouting combine.

and people say T.O. has ego issues. if he eventually does play and has anything less than a '98 moss type of rookie season he deserves to be tea-bagged.

Does he really think that he'll be a top 5 pick next season, and get top 5 money? This guy needs both a shrink and a financial advisor. What a tool.

the one thing he gains by being picked later in the draft is a shorter contract, thus leading to FA faster. It's still stupid as he wouldn't nearly make as much money upfront. What a douchebag!
