I went with Spiller simply because he is the much better player.

I think Lynch is about done in Buffalo

Clausen, if he beats Moore out. I voted for him anyway.

If not, it'll probably be a RB like Matthews or Tate or Hardesty.

Not Spiller though. Buffalo won't do anything so he will go unnoticed.

I picked Mathews because I think he has the best opportunity to produce, which sets him ahead of some of the others who might be more talented football players, in my opinion. I'd love to go with my own guy (Hardesty) but he won't get the same workload, and even Spiller will be splitting time, at least early in the season. But SD's obvious preference to limit Sproles shows Mathews will get carries and start in the first week, and situation matters for these awards as much as anything.

I love the love for Dexter guys, but I'm not convinced our O line is sufficiently capable of protecting Cassel just yet.

Agreed that if Dexter is used as a slot guy it will take a lot of pressure off Matt (as far as time to pass that is), but not convinced yet. I hope you guys prove me wrong.

From the sounds of it Matthews is picking up the system quick and is impressing in practice, i'll bet on the favorite.

That's how it sounds, and I'm not doubting it.

I just don't want it to be true. :(

Well, you got to look at it this way too, the Chiefs have a very soft schedule this year, they have improved their offensive line and have Charlie Weis calling the plays...so already things are looking up from last year and with Dexter the great thing is that he doesn't play just one position, he says he plays OW, offensive weapon he will be on the field as a WR, RB, QB and some for punt and kickoffs so he has ton of chances to get his hands on the ball
