2010 - Breakout Player Of The Year???

Try to think of some players from the 2008 or 2009 draft. What player(s) do you think are poised to have a breakout season?

It could be Darren McFadden, Jamaal Charles, Jermichael Finley, Beanie Wells, Rey Maualuga, Knowshon Moreno, Vernon Gholston, Rashard Mendenhall, MIchael Crabtree, Brian Robiskie ...

 

I'll go with Michael Crabtree

 

Felix Jones.

 

Charles had his last year, so he'd have to do even better to have a break out year. He'd basically have to break the rushing record to do better than he did last season.

I'm going with Maualuga.

 

I like the Felix Jones pick as well Rich...

With the way the Cowboys sound like they are going to handle the rushing duties, Jones is going to get plenty of chances...

Defensively, Glen Dorsey even tho he doesnt fit Wards criteria per draft year. I think as a Ratliff style NT, which is were some talk has him pointed at, I think he will be an All Pro

 

Of course I expect a lot from Crabtree.

Martellus Bennett.

 

Moreno. I didn't think he would do too well in the league, but he showed some flashes last season. He could really blow up if he gets more carries this season.

I can see Crabtree having a huge season this year. Of course, the homer in me says LeSean McCoy and Kevin Kolb, but as I've stated, not a big fan of K2. Kolb having a breakout year is more of a hope than a thought. But I think McCoy will have a big year. Toss Stewart Bradley in there as well.

 

As a 49er fan I say Crabtree but in the same sentence I also say we have Alex Smith so he could cancel Crabtree out sadly.

 

Ya, but didn't Crabtree play well with Smith in the lineup?

Being a noodle arm, I think Smith would hurt Morgan more than Crabtree

 

Henne, Heywerd-Bey, Garrard

I think these guys could actually make a connection.

I can see Henne having a HUGE year this year. Brendan Marshall in there, might be quite the combination.
