Kansas City Chiefs running back Peyton Hillis was seen in a walking boot due to an ankle injury Monday. He only saw three carries before exiting the game. The extra workload for Jamaal Charles led to him having 288 total yards and seven carries went to No. 3 back Shaun Draughn. The Kansas City Star notes that the Chiefs main concern with Hillis out is the potential to overwork Charles, which would lead on Draughn seeing an increased workload. Source: FFToolbox.com
I don't think an increased workload would be a bad thing for Draughn....he could use the experience, and he looked pretty good in preseason. Hope Hillis isn't out for too long though.
