A man whom investigators were prepared to question in the Aaron Hernandez murder case died in a one-car crash on Sunday, the Hartford Courant reported Tuesday.

Get more updates here Several law enforcement sources told the Courant that Thaddeus Singleton III, 33, was associated with Hernandez and of interest to investigators. Singleton died when his car flew off the road and split a pole in half. Authorities said the car was registered to Hernandez's uncle, who is also Singleton's father-in-law.

The Courant reports it was unclear if Singleton knew investigators were interested in his connections with Hernandez, who is facing first-degree murder charges in the shooting death of Odin Lloyd.

I bet he's part of a gang, and now everyone who knows anything is getting taken out. Classic cartel move. By him I mean Hernandez.

Tim Tebow's rep has to take a hit here too. Why didn't he just use his Jesus powers on Hernandez back in college? :)
