    Its hard to go by coach, because Gailey, Switzer, Campo and Phillips had little if any say in personel and Johnson and Parcells had alot of control ( just short of total control) and Garrett is very influential in personel now . Jerry at this point is really nothing more then a mouth peice

    Jones really does very little in the draft nowadays. Now Stephen Jones has control of that with Garrett and the director of scouting ( now McClay). Even before that Jeff Ireland made most of the picks.

    Jones biggest issue with drafting during that terrible stretch post Johnson pre Parcells was Larry Lacewell. The Cowboys had the worst draft (save 2009) when Lacewell was the man in Jones ear
