I was wondering the very same thing.

    Two rumors making the rounds:

    1. Bosh is close to finalizing a max deal with MIA. 5 years and $118 million.

    2. Kevin Love is interested in joining forces with LBJ in CLE.

    Stay tuned.

$118 million to stay in Miami. It's a done deal.

Jeremy Lin is worth a 1st rounder? Houston the big winner here dumping Lin's contract while getting a 1st.

Just saw a sports news story showing the Cleveland fans going ape crap. Probably the same peckerwoods that wanted LeBron dead 4 years ago.

Houston actually is the odd man out because they made that move to clear space for bosh, which obviously didn't work. So they screwed themselves.

They're big plan, from what I read, was to move Lin then secure Bosh. Needless to say they were overconfident, but even after losing out in the Bosh sweepstakes they still moved Lin. His contract was a burden regardless of Bosh. Even losing out on Bosh they're still better off.

Are you craptin' me? I stand majorly corrected. They must really wanted to have gotten rid of him.

Now I'm seeing that the Bulls are interested in Wade and P. Gasol.

Wade is washed up and constantly injured. gasol is old and would be boozer 2.0. I don't want either one. But if I had to choose one, I'd take gasol.

Bulls are cap strapped though aren't they?

Don't see them over paying for an aging Wade. (would love to have had him 5 years ago). Gasol supposedly has interest & would fit nicely with Noah but it's going to suck that cap dry.

Not necessarily against the ideas for the +s but never was a huge Gasol fan. Like a grittier, no holds barred, do whatever it takes, kind of Bull from yesteryear. It's why I changed my tune on Noah due to his passion. Not sure Gasol would absorb that mentality from him. Never liked the tag 'finesse'. In my world it means ball-less...

Of course of Rose goes down again, that experiment will be just that...an experiment.

IDK. Can't find anything really current that says what kind of shape they're in, salary cap wise.
