We all saw the Arizona Cardinals transition finally into a “serious” NFC contender in 2013 at a respectable 10-6. Yet there were still issues… actually an issue Cardinals Rushing. The entire league knew the 2013 Cardinals were little more than a thinly veiled core of receivers. No one really took the Cardinals rushing seriously. Why should they? After all, they failed to produce a single 1,000 yard rusher in 2013, so no one really took the backfield seriously. Even worse, between the 6 Backs they had on the roster in 2013, they only mustered a total of 1,540 rushing together! Defensive Coordinators all over the […]

I guess you could be right...but who's gonna rack up the other 1200 yards? I guess Dwyer, Palmer, Thomas and co could come up with 2200 yards to add to Ellington's 1000.

Can't wait to see those games that they break well over the 200 yard mark...

One person not mentioned in the article is Cards' second year "rookie" Jonathan Cooper at OG. Early reports are that he'll be playing on the same side as Veldheer and Cooper's No. 1 strength is run blocking. RT is the real question mark. Don't know about 200/game, but the offensive line in 2014 will automatically make the RB's better.
