49ers DE Ray McDonald Arrested On Domestic Violence Charge

San Jose police tell KTVU that 49er Defensive Lineman Ray McDonald was arrested early Sunday morning on allegations of felony domestic violence.
McDonald was arrested at his home in San Jose early Sunday morning.

Wow, right after their domestic violence policy came out.

 

San Francisco 49ers defensive end Ray McDonald was arrested early Sunday morning on a felony domestic violence charge, according to San Jose police. McDonald posted $25,000 bail and was released from jail about six hours after he was booked.

McDonald, 29, was arrested just before 3 a.m. at a home in San Jose, police spokeswoman Heather Randol confirmed via the department's official Twitter account.

He is scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 15, the day after the Niners play a Sunday Night Football game against Chicago in Santa Clara.
