Edge music and promo with pyros to start. He promises to usher in a Rated R era. Teddy Long comes out to make a 4 way for #1 contender at One Night Stand. Mark Henry, Kane, Batista and Finlay. One Night Stand match will be in a steel cage 15 feet high!

London and Kendrick vs Regal and Taylor. Deuce and Domino come out to the ramp to watch. Kendrick gets beat up by Taylor and thrown out. He and Regal make quick tags to continue the rudo beatdown. Kendrick hits SB#2 and tags. London goes top rope, Deuce and Domino push him off for the DQ. KLC win. Brawl outside afterwards. HUGE BOO for Deuce and Domino as they leave. Good pop for KLC.

Hornswaggle gets chased by Edge backstage because he stole Edge's belt. Finlay stops him and says you can have this back... FOR NOW!

Jillian comes out to sing 'Jillatonic'. SHE STINKS! Boogeyman interrupts. She tries to flee but a diva throws her back in. She tries again and Lil Boogey blocks. They both put worms on her and she flees in horror.

Back in his office, Teddy Long officially welcomes Vickie Guerrero as his new assistant. She is thrilled and so is Kristal.

Next up - Matt Hardy vs. The Miz. Miz works an arm and the crowd is tepid with excitement. Hardy gets several good pops nonetheless. Miz finally gets some heat for pulling his hair for a head slam. Miz hits a neckbreaker and poses. Matt fights back with punches. Clothesline in the corner. 2 count. Scoop slam and top rope elbow. Miz blocks a twist of fate. Hardy gets the side effect for 2 then twist of fate for 3!! BIG POP! Matt leaves holding his belt in one hand and his head in the other, and then bows to the crowd.

Mark Henry does a Titantron promo and declares himself king of the jungle. He vows to win the 4 way and promises he will show us just how vicious a silverback gorilla can be at One Night Stand!

Balloon displays and a podium are brought out presumably for MVP. Balloons form two arches on the ramp and the podium is in the ring. MVP rides down to the ring in a convertible drop top like the king of the prom. He gets a pyro on the ramp and sparklers in the ring. MVP cuts a promo and says he proved he was worth every penny, and that Benoit should come out to make the celebration complete. Benoit comes out. MVP demands a handshake and Benoit gives it to him. He also demands Chris raise his hand to declare him the future and Benoit the past. MVP gets in his face and Chris gets fed up! He unleashes German suplexes and chops. MVP flees the ring and glares as Benoit poses.

On the Titantron, Kane promises the 4 way will be fatal for his opponents, and One Night Stand will be Edge's last stand.

Chavo Guerrero vs. Jimmy Wang Yang (presumably non title) as the lights come back up. Babyface beats up the heel to start and the crowd is pin drop quiet. Chavo dropkicks Yang in the knees as he goes top rope for a li’l heat. Chavo works him over, but Yang comes back with chops. Chavo applies a half crab and Yang gets to the ropes. Chavo goes for it again but Yang breaks again. They’re not booing this, but almost no one is cheering and it's a shame. Backslide by Yang for two and a headkick followed by clotheslines and a high back bodydrop. Chavo kicks the knee again and does Eddie’s rolling suplexes. Chavo goes top rope for frogsplash and is cut off. They fight over a superplex and fall off into a roll up by Yang for 3. Yang wins but it's non title. Chavo retains, clutching the belt like it’s his most cherished possession.

Batista is on the Titantron with Kristal. He says one guy loves to fight, one is king of the jungle, and one wants fatality - but it won’t be fatal 4 him!

Edge out first for fatal 4 way to huge boos.

Batista is out first for the 4 way, followed in order by Kane, Finlay, and Henry is last. The whole arena smells like smoke from all the pyros. Big babyface pop for Batista. Kane and Finlay to start. Batista and Henry in when they spill out. Finlay jumps on Henry’s back, but Henry finally throws him over. Cluster in the ring. Side slam by Kane on Batista. Batista top rope press on Henry for 2 count. Batista suplexes Finlay off the ropes. Henry bodysplashes them. Kane hits boots and goes for chokeslam, turns into a punch fight. Kane with boot, Batista clotheslines. Henry powerbombs Kane. Henry scoops Batista for the strong slam but gets 2 count. Cluster again and Finlay hits everyone with the shillalegh! Little Bastard in and Batista spears Finlay so Little Bastard runs away. Big demon bomb by Batista on Finlay for the 1 2 3. Batista is the new No. 1 contender!

Chris Benoit and Matt Hardy vs. MVP & The Miz: Decent match that went about 15 minutes with a commercial break in there after the usual babyfaces clean house spot. Hardy got worked over for much of the match while building to the hot tag to Benoit. The Crippler won it with a Crossface although no rolling Germans or headbutt. He just got the point this time. MVP got a nice pop while Miz was hated and Hardy and Benoit got a lot of support.

Finlay pumped up Hornswoggle for his match later on. Have to give Hornswoggle some props for the facial expressions.

Michelle McCool vs. Jillian Hall: Crowd was dead for it. After about five minutes of a back and forth match, Ashley came down the aisle just as Jillian was in the advantage, so Michelle ended up catching her with a spinning backbreaker for the pin. Then Ashley left. Many of us were wondering if Jillian was going to have a wardrobe malfunction because it sure looked like she was close.

Boogeyman prepared his mini buddy by giving him worms to eat.

Hornswoggle vs. Mini Boogeyman: Lots of fun with a hot crowd for it of course. Everybody loves the midgets apparently. Finish came when Finlay came out from under the ring to help Hornswoggle. Finlay hit Mini Boogey with the shillelagh and then Hornswoggle won it with a splash off the top. Crowd liked him.

Kane vs. Mark Henry: It went about 6 or 7 minutes and ended when Mark Henry gave him a bearhug on the floor, then rammed him into the post. Kane got counted out. They made a lumberjack match for One Night Stand as a result of this.

Backstage, Edge did his usual promo about beating Undertaker and then Batista, so he's not an underdog.

Deuce & Domino did an interview with some new announcer dude. It was their usual '50s type of speak with Deuce being extra aggressive.

Deuce & Domino vs. London & Kendrick vs. Regal & Taylor for the Tag Titles: This match was in the 15 minute range or so. Much of it was spent with Kendrick getting worked over by the four heels. London came in after the tag, cleaned house and went for something off the top when Cherry shoved him off and the champs got the pin.

Backstage, Teddy Long credited Vickie Guerrero with booking Kane vs. Henry in a Lumberjack match at One Night Stand. Then Kristal pondered about what would happen if Teddy and her weren't on the same brand after the draft. The segment ended with Vickie telling Teddy & Kristal to go on a romantic night out on the town because she would take care of the rest of the show. And then she did nothing to take care of the show.

Main Event Interview: Batista was a guest on the Cutting Edge show. Edge got a massive pop on the way out. He had a sore throat, so they got right to the point. He beat Undertaker and he beat Batista, so he's not afraid of him. Then he gently slapped him, Batista gently slapped back. Then they gently nudged each other and the segment ended with Batista decking him with a right hand.

Cutting Edge segment with Vince McMahon opened. Vince was still acting crazy. Funny flub by Edge where he mentioned it being Thursday (supposed to say Friday). They announced Edge vs. Batista for the PPV. In the end, Edge gave Vince his belt to hold temporarily.

Mark Henry b Boogeyman with the world's strongest slam. Post-match saw Henry destroy Little Boogeman with a big splash.

Vickie Guerrero made the next few matches. Vince was backstage with Vickie, Teddy Long and Kristal. Vince was still acting strange. He put over Vickie, said Kristal was a problem and told Teddy he was watching him

Jimmy Yang & Paul London & Brian Kendrick b Chavo Guerrero & Jamie Noble & Daivari when Kendrick pinned Chavo

Edge b Chris Benoit with a spear. Good back-and-forth match. Benoit came close to winning several times.

Jillian and Ashley brawled backstage. As Vince was talking to Matt Hardy, Ashley accidentally spilled coffee on Vince. Vince then suspended Ashley

Deuce & Domino b Matt Hardy in a tornado handicap match when Deuce got the pin after a running kick to the face

Batista b MVP via DQ when Edge interfereed and speared Batista

im just saying its funny how there are hardcore fans......

its wierd that someone would root for an individual when the matches are rigged in the first place.....

its basically choreographed moves with whip cream on top....

and throw in some kind of sports opera in the mix....

but the ladies are always nice to seee ;)

    Just ask Droz.

The only good wrestling promotion is Ring of Honor very little Bullcrap story and a ton of good matches.

I have been going to Ring Of Honor shows for almost three years whenever they come to Chicago and I will be at their second PPV taping on June 23rd. Another good promotion I go see is Shimmer Women Athletes. They crowned their very first champion on June 2nd. Dave Prazak, the promoter of Shimmer looks at the Women Athletes as actual wrestlers unlike Vince McMahon where he looks at the WWE Divas more as eye candy instead of wrestlers.

I've heard good things about Shimmer. Women that actually wrestle and not doing T&A.

If you haven't picked up a Shimmer DVD, I highly suggest you purchase one at the next ROH show you go to. Out of the 8 Shimmer DVDs I own, i've gotten 3 or 4 of them at an ROH show.

Ahhh, the last UK weekend. The same weekend where the ROH tag titles where being defended in the UK, while the ROH World Heavyweight Championship was being defended in Japan. Plus Samoa Joe's last two ROH dates as well. Outta curousity, what venues do you go to see an ROH event at?

The whole SmackDown! roster appeared at the stage enterance, then Tony Chimel called for a moment of silence for Mr. McMahon. There were a ton of boos, along with people chanting "Na Na Na Na, Na Na Na Na, Hey Hey Hey, Good-Bye!"

There was a Tag Team Match between London and Kendrick, and Deuce and Domino. London and Kendrick were spectacular as always in the ring, and Deuce and Domino were pretty vicious with their attacks. London and Kendrick were very well over with the fans, and got major pop. Kendrick was tossed out of the ring to the floor by Domino, Deuce Booted London in the face, and covered for the pin. Your Winners: Deuce and Domino

Matt Hardy versus William Regal. I doubt there is anyone on SmackDown! as well over as Matt Hardy, and as soon as his music hit everyone was brought to their feet. Hardy and Regal put on a good match, not a great one, but a good one. Matt caught Regal for the Side Effect, then the Twist of Fate. Your Winner: Matt Hardy

Batista versus MVP. Batista's entrance was pretty cool as usual, and his pyro was just a little late. But, none the less he proved he is very well over with the fans. MVP had his usual entrance through the blow-up thingy. The Match was pretty standard, with a couple of attacks here and there. At one point Batista caught MVP for the Spine Buster, and later for the Batista Bomb. Your Winner: Batista

Fatal Four Way for Cruiserweight Championship Number One Contender. Chavo entered first, taking a seat to JBL's right to observe the match. Jamie Noble then entered, most people didn't know what to think. Next was Kosrow Daivari, he got major heat from the fans. Next was Shannon Moore, who again fans really didn't care about. Finally, Jimmy Wang Yang entered to huge pop from the crowd. The Match began, and quickly the high flying action began. Shannon Moore at one point landed the Mooregasm, but missed the cover. Jimmy Wang Yang was mostly dominant throughout the match, getting amazingly high into the air on several jumps. Jimmy then caught Daivari with the Moonsault. Your Winner, and new Number One Contender for the Cruiserweight Championship: Jimmy Wang Yang.

Ric Flair versus Edge. Edge entered frist to a mix of boos, and cheers. His pyro hit, and man oh man is it an impressive pyro. Next to enter was Flair, which triggered the chain reaction of "Woo!" The match was pretty good considering Flair's age. Edge must have been chopped at least twenty times. In the end, MVP entered the ring, Flair chopped him, and Edge got DQed. Your Winner by DQ: Ric Flair. Edge and MVP then proceeded to beat the hell out of Flair. Batista's music hit, and he charge the ring. Edge got out of dodge after being hit with a clothesline, MVP took a vicious SpineBuster.
