Steve Kerr single-handedly set the Phoenix Suns back 5 years as General Manager. The hiring of Terry Porter as his first official act resulted in Porter being fired before the All Star break in his first and only season. Player decisons were none better. Then it's off to TNT leaving the Suns reeling. That said, his turning down Phil Jackson and the Knicks job in favor of Golden State showed that his decision making process as a Head Coach is far, far better. What he did with a Warriors team that always had potential after the arrival of Curry was nothing short of amazing. Seems like just yesterday Warriors players were witching about Mark Jackson getting canned after many successful years as a Head Coach who just couldn't get them over the hump. Enter Kerr and now the Warriors GM looks like a genius. Kudos to Golden State.
