Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose would end up coming out to have words with them, however no fight broke out. The promo would go back-and-forth, with both teams talking trash about the other, and The Wyatt Family putting over their new member. The Dudley Boyz, Bubba Ray and Devon defeated The Ascension, Konnor and Viktor in tag-team action. The Ascension cut a quick heel promo before the match. The finish of the match saw the Dudley Boyz hit their 3-D finisher for the 1-2-3. After the match, the WWE Tag-Team Champions — The New Day: Big E., Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods — came out to taunt The Dudley Boyz. The Dudleyz ended up putting Viktor of The Ascension through a table with another 3-D to send a message and back off The New Day, as their rivalry continues stemming from the attack when The Dudley Boyz returned on Monday. Former NXT Champion Kevin Owens makes his way to the ring for the next match. Out next is his opponent, “The Man That Gravity Forgot,” Neville. Prior to the match, Owens cut a quick promo backstage and spoke about his weekend, Monday’s RAW and Neville. Kevin Owens defeated Neville. The finish of the match saw Owens pin Neville after hitting him with his Pop-Up Powerbomb finishing move. Backstage we see Nikki Bella and Brie Bella trying to turn Charlotte and Becky Lynch against Paige since Paige is away at the finale episode of WWE Tough Enough. The WWE World Heavyweight Champion and WWE United States Champion Seth Rollins cuts a promo on Sting and their upcoming WWE title match at the WWE Night Of Champions pay-per-view on September 20th in Houston, Texas. Rollins spoke about the surprise attack on Monday’s RAW and their upcoming showdown at Night Of Champions in just four weeks. Charlotte and Becky Lynch defeated The Bella Twins. There is no word whether or not the fans in Providence, Rhode Island gave the Divas the same negative reaction that the fans in Brooklyn gave them for the six-Divas tag-team match on RAW. Dolph Ziggler and Ryback defeated Rusev and Big Show in tag-team action. Tension between Rusev and Big Show led to Show hitting Rusev with the Knockout Punch right as Rusev was about to put Ziggler away with The Accolade. Ziggler went on to take advantage of the Knockout Punch by pinning Rusev. Sheamus defeated Dean Ambrose in singles competition. “Mr. Money In The Bank” scored the victory in what was the final match taped for this week’s edition of WWE SmackDown. This match was actually given some time, and by the end of it, Sheamus and Ambrose had the fans in Providence into the action quite a bit. The finish saw Sheamus defeat Ambrose. After the match, the new Wyatt Family came down to the ring and beat down both Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns. This week’s edition of SmackDown goes off the air with the new Wyatt Family standing tall over a beaten down Ambrose and Reigns.
