The New Orleans Saints are firing defensive coordinator Rob Ryan after a 47-14 loss to Washington on Sunday that dropped the team to No. 32 in points and yards allowed through the first 10 weeks, according to Alex Marvez of FOX Sports. Ryan, 52, took over the defense in New Orleans in 2013 and helped the team bounce back from being the worst defensive team in the NFL in 2012 to become the No. 4 defense one year later. But the Saints defense regressed to No. 31 in the NFL in 2014 and has been particularly bad in the month of November this season. http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/2015/11/16/9743222/rob-ryan-new-orleans-saints-defensive-coordinator
don't think that will happen in the next few years. i always thought rex was the better D/C between the two brothers, but buddy ryan has forgotten more than either will ever learn about it.
the Saints defense looked much better against Houston after they settled down. first quarter 14 points - 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 10 points - Much better... to bad our offensive line and play calling isn't up to snuff.. gonna take a couple years to turn this team around, if we're lucky.
