1/30/2011 - TD Garden - Boston, Massachusetts 30-Man Royal Rumble Match: Winner receives an opportunity to main event WrestleMania XXVII
I actually can't remember the last time a Royal Rumble winner actually main evented (As in the last match). Looking at how Royal Rumble the last few years have panned out, I struggle to see anything other than a Triple H return and victory. They've been building up Trips return and with Sheamus' history and this "Only King in Dubbya Dubbya Ehh" appears to be the obvious way to bring his glory hogging butt back.
Updated Card: 30-Man Royal Rumble Match: Winner receives an opportunity to main event WrestleMania XXVII WWE Title Match: The Miz [c] vs Randy Orton
Too bad they went with Miz vs Orton over Miz vs Morrison. They gave away a good match on TV the other night. I see Del Rio winning the Rumble. He's on a major climb and I wouldn't be shocked if he was going for or wearing a strap come WM.
Del Rio is a big deal fairly quick, but you already know that ;) As a Morrison mark, I hope that they are going to use the Rumble to get him over, but I really doubt it'll happen that way. I can see the thought process with Del Rio, but RR seems to be more about getting returning guys back quickly into the Main Event scene, which is why I still think Triple H will win it. Although a Y2J return would be nice if it had to be someone returning.

I came home in time as the first match ended, I didn't pay attention to the miz's match lol, I hardly watch any match outside the Rumble match at The Royal Rumble and the Rumble match was awesome man you should have watched it well his name is ALBERTO DEL RIO but now you already know that and it was his destiny to win the Rumble and main event Wrestle Mania *puts on cheesy grin*
The area EXPLODED when Diesel and Booker T came out, such a great moment. Alberto Del Rio winning? Not so much. I think he's great, but way too early for my liking. Wade Barrett or John Morrison would have been more fitting. But you know, he was always meant to be a big deal, pretty quick ;)
