Justin Smith and Aldon Smith, who underwent offseason surgery, are both spending time in the 49ers' weight room and on track to be ready for the opening of training camp. "They'll be fine," 49ers GM Trent Baalke said Wednesday. Justin Smith underwent surgery to repair a partially torn triceps tendon the week after the 49ers' Super Bowl loss to the Baltimore Ravens in early February and was expected to face a three-month rehabilitation. Aldon Smith underwent surgery in early March to repair a torn labrum in his shoulder. He is also expected to be ready for training camp. Both players are lifting weights as part of the 49ers' offseason conditioning program. "They're working hard," Baalke said. "Justin, right now, he has no restrictions, no limitations to my knowledge on anything that he's doing. They might be a little conservative with him at this stage, which you'd expect that to be. "Aldon is coming along, as well. He's probably not as far along. He's certainly getting back . . . I hate to put a percentage of it." Source: Comcast Sports
