The San Francisco 49ers have announced that franchised safety Dashon Goldson has signed his one-year tender. Goldson's tender is worth $6.212 million in fully guaranteed base salary. The two sides were unable to reach agreement on a multi-year extension before the July 16 deadline, the earliest that Goldson, who turns 28 in September, and the 49ers can reach a multi-year extension is December 31, the day after the 49ers' regular season finale against the Arizona Cardinals. Goldson turned down a five-year, $25 million offer from the 49ers after last year's lockout, opting instead to test the free-agent market. Though he paid one visit to the New England Patriots, Goldson returned to the 49ers on a one-year, $2 million contract and earned Pro Bowl honors after posting 67 tackles and a career-high six interceptions in 14 games last season.
