San Francisco coach Jim Harbaugh said Monday "it's possible" that running back Brandon Jacobs (knee) could be available for the regular-season opener, the Sacramento Bee reports. Jacobs apparently dodged a serious knee injury after leaving Friday's preseason game after taking a hit from Houston cornerback Kareem Jackson in the first quarter.
