San Francisco coach Jim Harbaugh said Monday "it's possible" that running back Brandon Jacobs (knee) could be available for the regular-season opener, the Sacramento Bee reports. Jacobs apparently dodged a serious knee injury after leaving Friday's preseason game after taking a hit from Houston cornerback Kareem Jackson in the first quarter. He had to be taken to the locker room on a cart. "Brandon for the opener?" Harbaugh said. "It's possible. Again, we just have to see how the treatment goes, how the body responds.
