The 49ers have decided that Delanie Walker's broken jaw is healing quickly enough that he can help them in the playoffs, Jim Harbaugh said this morning. Harbaugh said team doctors were encouraged when they examined Walker's jaw, which was broken in two places Dec. 24, on Wednesday. "He's not the average Joe walking around on the street," Harbaugh said. "He's young and has got great healing powers." Harbaugh said he would not rule Walker out for Saturday's game against New Orleans, although Walker seems like a long shot for the game. Look for Justin Peelle to fill in against the Saints and for Moran Norris to enter the game as a second fullback on certain plays. Source: Sacramento Bee
