According to the Wilmington News Journal, Philadelphia Eagles starting WR DeSean Jackson was chewed out by head coach Andy Reid in front of the entire team after Sunday’s 31-26 loss to the host Chicago Bears. According to the paper, Jackson, one source said, had irritated Reid by having a loose demeanor before the game and not taking pre-game drills seriously. The paper also noted another source said that Reid wouldn’t have reacted so angrily if the Eagles had won. Reid was more terse than usual with reporters in his postgame press conference. Jackson, who has another year left on his rookie contract after this one, has made it clear that he wants a new deal sooner rather than later. Source: Adam Caplan, FOXSports
Alligator arms. He won't catch anything over the middle now. Which makes it easy for teams just to play him down the sideline.
I understand his hesitation, but we needed that TD. It wasn't just that play though. He was a complete non-factor this whole game.
