The Bears informed nickel back D.J. Moore that he is no longer in the team's plans, Moore told the Tribune Tuesday night. Such a move was expected with Moore set to become a free agent March 12 after he lost his job to Kelvin Hayden last season. The former fourth round pick from Vanderbilt recently expressed a desire to play safety if it would help him become a full-time player. Moore's playmaking skills should attract some interest on the free-agent market. The Bears want to keep Hayden as their nickel back but he's also set for free agency. Source: Chicago Tribune
