Running back Armando Allen has been tendered an offer as an exclusive rights free agent, according to an NFL source. The one-year offer puts Allen in position to earn $480,000 in 2013.

Allen was fourth on the team in rushing last season, gaining 124 yards on 27 carries, including a 46-yard touchdown in the closing minutes of the 41-3 victory at Jacksonville on Oct. 7. Allen also made two receptions for 16 yards and he was credited with seven tackles on special teams, tying for sixth on the roster.

Allen was sixth on the Bears with 195 snaps on special teams but was on the field for only 49 offensive plays.
