The Buffalo Bills announced they have re-signed offensive lineman Colin Brown to a multi-year extension.

Brown appeared in each of the first five games last season mostly on special teams. He made his second career start a right guard in Week 5 at San Francisco, but tore his hamstring and was placed on injured reserve two days later.

A former fifth-round draft choice in 2009, Brown, who has been with the club since the tail end of the 2010 season has served mainly as a reserve center and guard. Brown will turn 28 before the 2013 regular season.
