In a game that looked like a rugby scrum at times, the Denver Broncos (4-5) picked up their second road victory in a row by handling the Kansas City Chiefs (4-5), 17-10. The Broncos relied almost exclusively on the running game but Tim Tebow had a career-best 56-yard touchdown bomb to receiver Eric Decker that sealed Kansas City’s fate. The Broncos didn’t need to risk Tebow throwing an interception thanks to a dominating performance from the offensive line and running backs, even though both Knowshon Moreno (knee) and Willis McGahee (hamstring) left the game after being injured in the first quarter. Denver ran the ball a season-high 54 times for 245 yards, including a seven yard touchdown run in the first quarter by Tebow. For the Chiefs, it’s the second loss in a row for the team after they dropped their first three games and then rolled out four straight wins.
